Discharge Test

Next, constant-current discharge tests were conducted on the STATIK AA rechargeable lithium batteries at different current levels. The test environment temperature was 25±2°C, and the discharge cut-off voltage was900mV.

First, a 0.1A discharge test was performed. The output voltage decreased steadily as capacity was consumed, simulating the discharge voltage characteristics of traditional alkaline batteries. The final measured discharged capacity was 2007mAh.

Under the 0.1A discharge test, the measured discharged energy was 2599mWh.

The discharge current was increased to 0.5A. The battery voltage drop curve remained steady, with a final measured discharged capacity of 2013mAh.

Under the 0.5A discharge test, the measured discharged energy was 2641mWh.

Finally, a high-current discharge test at 1.5A was conducted. The final measured discharged capacity was 1686mAh.

Under the 1.5A discharge test, the measured discharged energy was 1999mWh.

Camera Flash Test

In practice, these four STATIK AA rechargeable lithium batteries were used with the Godox TT685II speedlite flash.

After inserting the four batteries into the flash unit and powering it on, the flash charged quickly. The test button in the lower left corner lit up green, indicating normal operation at the maximum 1/1 power setting.

With the Godox TT685II speedlite attached to the hot shoe of a Sony A7M4 camera, testing confirmed that the STATIK battery could drive the flash normally, performing no differently from traditional alkaline batteries.

Having reviewed the appearance, charging power, and tests, we now proceed to the teardown section.

Teardown

First, the external silver wrap is removed. Inside, the structure consists of a cylindrical steel-case lithium cell at the bottom and a charge/discharge control module at the top.

Removing the white ring-shaped insulation sticker from the top positive terminal reveals a blue circular PCB surrounding the positive metal cap.

Separating the top charge/discharge control module's metal ring from the cylindrical lithium cell below, the cell's positive terminal is protected by a white insulation washer.

Inside the top control module, there is a black plastic insulation bracket. A spring-loaded pin extends through a reserved hole to connect with the positive terminal of the lithium cell below.

After removing the black plastic insulation bracket, a small blue circular PCBA board is found embedded within the metal housing.
